The plant is designed to process various types of WEEE, both hazardous and non-hazardous, with the goal of maximizing material recovery and promoting environmental sustainability.

Non-Hazardous Electronic Waste:
Computers, laptops, servers, and networking devices
Mobile phones, tablets, and other communication devices
Household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, and vacuum cleaners
Office equipment like printers, fax machines, and copiers
Industrial equipment, electric motors, and transformers
Cables, spare parts, and electronic components

Hazardous Electronic Waste:
Televisions and monitors (CRT, LCD, LED, Plasma)
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and heat pumps
Lighting equipment such as spotlights, streetlights, and neon lights
Batteries from electronic equipment
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)

Materials Extracted:

Through meticulous dismantling, shredding, and separation processes, the facility recovers valuable materials, including:
Ferrous Metals: Iron and steel components are extracted and processed into End-of-Waste (EOW) iron scrap, in compliance with EU Regulation No. 333/2011.
Non-Ferrous Metals: Metals such as copper, aluminum, and brass are separated for recycling.
Plastics: Various types of rigid plastics are sorted and prepared for reuse.
Glass: Recovered from screens and monitors, glass is processed into EOW glass cullet, adhering to EU Regulation No. 1179/2012.
Electronic Components: Specific components like circuit boards and batteries are isolated for specialized recovery processes.
