Aura S.p.A., located in L'Aquila, Italy, specializes in the recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and electric cables. Through environmentally friendly and socially sustainable processes, Aura recovers secondary raw materials (End of Waste) essential for reducing the use of natural resources. The primary materials processed and recovered include:

Ferrous Metals: Iron and steel components extracted from various electronic devices.
Non-Ferrous Metals: Aluminum and copper, particularly from cables and electronic parts.
Precious Metals: Gold, silver, and palladium sourced from circuit boards and other electronic components.
Plastics: Various polymers separated and processed for recycling.
Glass: Recovered mainly from screens and monitors.
Electronic Boards: Processed to extract valuable metals and components.
Aura's facility spans approximately 17,200 square meters within the "Tecnopolo d’Abruzzo" area and operates five production lines authorized to process up to 62,000 tons of materials annually. The company employs exclusively mechanical processes—such as shredders, granulators, sieves, and magnetic separators—to achieve material purity levels exceeding 99%, without the use of chemicals or thermal treatments.
